This dual tour highlights both adaptive reuse / retail activation and high-end residential development in Silver Lake’s Sunset corridor, followed by a happy hour across the street at The Thirsty Crow.

  About Sunset Row
  Sunset Row is RYDA’s bold transformation of vintage industrial and auto shop structures into a vibrant destination. It brings together over 19,000 square feet of curated retail and restaurant space, organized around a central courtyard that creates a social backbone for the project.

  Architecturally, Sunset Row preserves the original bow-truss structures and industrial heritage while incorporating modern storefronts with generous glass facades and sleek interiors. The design fosters an engaging, walkable retail environment that feels new and fresh while still rooted in the history of the neighborhood.

  About Mysa Silver Lake
  Just steps from Sunset Row, Mysa Silver Lake is RYDA’s newly completed five-story, 74-unit multifamily residence. The building includes studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, all organized around a landscaped internal courtyard. Key amenities include a rooftop deck, community lounge, and secure parking.

  The design aesthetic blends Scandinavian and Japanese influences with an emphasis on light, openness, and quality finishes. With floor-to-ceiling windows, modern kitchens and baths, and smart home features, the project balances the surrounding urban energy with interior comforts.

  BREAA NYC is pleased to invite you to a special industry-wide cocktail reception honoring the 75th Anniversary of the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Real Estate + Urban Economics. The Fisher Center is the second oldest university real estate research center in the US and has advanced the real estate industry through education, research, and policy advisory, shaping generations of students and professionals while tackling critical issues in real estate, finance, urban economics, sustainability, land use, and public policy.

  We are proud to honor Nancy Wallace, professor of Finance and Real Estate at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where she holds the Lisle and Roslyn Payne Chair in Real Estate and Capital Markets. She is Chair of the Real Estate Group, Co-Chair of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, and directs the Real Estate and Financial Markets Laboratory. She is a past President of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association and a past member of the AREUEA Board of Directors.

  We are also proud to honor Christopher J. Hartung, Executive Director of the Fisher Center’s Policy Advisory Board, for his outstanding leadership and service. He brings decades of experience in real estate finance and investment and is the Co-Founder of Terra Firma Asset Management and former Portfolio Manager at Lazard Asset Management's Global Real Estate Group. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to bridging academia and practice have made a lasting impact on the Fisher Center and the broader real estate community.
