  BREAA LA and UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group (REAG) Members, friends, and family, join us on Saturday, July 26th, for a fun day at the beach, supporting the Surfrider Foundation LA Chapter with a Venice Beach Clean Up! Come in the morning to clean up one of our beautiful California beaches and stay for some snacks and drinks after the event (Venice Ale House). This is a great chance to catch some sun, do some good, and reconnect with your fellow alumni and local real estate professionals.

  The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to keep the oceans and beaches enjoyable for all. Donations are encouraged and can be made directly on their website www.surfrider.org.

  We are proud and honored to welcome Rich Lyons, the 12th Chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley, as this year’s keynote speaker. A distinguished Berkeley alumnus and former Dean of the Haas School of Business, Chancellor Lyons has spent his career championing innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence. His return to lead the university is a powerful reflection of his enduring commitment to public education and the transformative spirit of the Berkeley community.

  Throughout his illustrious career, Chancellor Lyons has been a steadfast supporter of the real estate programs at Cal. During his tenure at Haas, he played a pivotal role in expanding the reach and impact of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, creating new pathways for students, alumni, and industry leaders to engage in meaningful real estate research and education.
