BREAA board members Zach Chan and Brian Chadwick were joined by Ashley Weinstein-Carnes (Boalt 2016) in a new graduate happy hour at Freehouse in Berkeley on May 16th (photo above). Attendees included graduates of the College of Letters & Sciences, Master of Real Estate Development & Design (MRED + D) and Master of Business Administration programs. Overcoming rain, finals, and a slate of pre-graduation activities, the students made new connections and got a little taste of the benefits of BREAA membership, including a brief on the organization's strategic plan. While many of the students were either already employed or had secured employment, several great students as of this writing had not - if you are looking to grow your team, Brian is happy to connect you with them!
While the summer months naturally mean a pause on student engagement activities, the BREAA Board is already excited for the fall semester, when we aim to grow support for student activities such as case competitions and career mentorship opportunities. To that end, we are always looking for motivated volunteers to help us grow new initiatives - if you are interested in getting involved, please contact the board!
