The Executives in Residence Program, one of BREAA’s signature initiatives, connects Berkeley real estate students with experienced industry leaders for one-on-one conversations about careers, opportunities, and navigating the field.
This year, we were fortunate to have two members of BREAA’s Advisory Board - Jay Atkinson and Marc Perrin, serve as Executives in Residence. Jay and Marc met with students, sharing insights from their careers and offering candid, practical advice to those preparing to enter the industry.
One student reflected:
“Thank you to the BREAA and BREC members for co-organizing and hosting such a meaningful event. The Executive in Residence program was an incredible opportunity to receive candid, 1:1 career advice from an experienced real estate developer. I walked away with tangible tips for my job search and a renewed confidence in how my diverse experiences and problem-solving skills are valuable assets in real estate investing.”
- Leticia Corona Gómez, EMBA Candidate, Class of 2026
Programs like these exemplify BREAA’s mission to foster meaningful connections between alumni and students, ensuring Berkeley’s legacy of leadership, mentorship, and innovation in real estate continues to grow.
